BBC NEWS Science/Nature Device 'spins silk like spiders'

This was what my Master's project was about before I had to abandon it almost 10 years ago now! Imagine how far we along we could have been if I actually got to do what I intended to (which is quite similar to what the researchers came up with!)!

Now Reading

Wow I've been a bit slow on this - work's been nuts! I'm several books past the last entry. I read One the Meaning of Life by Will Durant. As expected it was a fabulous read. I have to post several quotes from it that I will shortly and you'll see what I mean.
After that I read The Greatest Battle: Stalin, Hitler, and the Desperate Struggle for Moscow That Changed the Course of World War II by Andrew Nagorski which was very well written and quite an eye opener.
I'm now reading a book analyzing Lincoln's Gettysburg speech which I didn't bring with me today so I'll have to post about it later.
