Lakeweed
For the need to get out of the house, we took the kids to the beach yesterday. All jokes aside about there not really being beaches on a lake - and I'm usually the one to make them - there's no other word to call the beaches on Presque Isle. They've done an amazingly great job with them there. And because you can't see the Canadian shore, the illusion is quite good. There's the whole lack of sea salt smell and the fact that the water isn't salty but I can live without it for these purposes. The kids love it and its fun to wathc them just enjoy being kids. The point of this particular topic was that while I was standing there looking at the gorgeous sunset and taking the sights and the view, I noticed algae washed up on the shore. The first thing that came to my head completely naturally and without any hint of disconnection from reality was that I needed to "loot" the " Stranglekelp" to add it to my "Blackmouth Oil" for my "Elixir of Water Breathing ". ("Ummm, it just might allow you to breathe under water for a period of time, but I'm just guessing so don't hold me to that .") *sigh* can anyone say "Obessession"?
